Early American Living History Event

Saturday | Sep 12 | 10:00 AM — 2:00 PM Person County Museum of History, 309 N Main St, Roxboro, NC 27573, USA

Join the Person County Museum of History and the Person County Cooperative Extension Office as we co-host an Early American Living History Event on Saturday, September 12 from 10am - 2pm at the Person County Museum of History.
We will invite visitors to step back in time to experience life in our area during the late 1700s and early 1800s. Costumed interpreters will demonstrate heritage skills that would have been used by residents of the Central Piedmont for generations. These include foodways, domestic tasks (weaving/dyeing/quilting etc), agricultural and industrial tasks and much more.
This is a free, all ages event that will take place rain or shine. If you are interested in volunteering to help with this event please contact personcountymuseumofhistory@gmail.com.
