Join the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Caswell, Orange and Person County Centers as we join forces to offer a hands-on pressure canning home food preservation class at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Orange County Center office.

This workshop will teach the pressure canning method, which is used for low-acid foods such as meat, poultry, seafood, and vegetables. Learn about best practices when using this method.

The registration fee can be paid at any of the three Extension offices through cash or check. The class is subject to cancellation if there aren't enough participants. Registration is due by Thursday, May 18th and is non-refundable.
