Early American Living History Event
Join the Person County Museum of History and the Person County Cooperative Extension Office as we co-host a Early American Living History Event on Saturday, September 12 from 10am - 2pm at the Person County Museum of History.
Step back in time at one of the museum’s biggest events of the year! Experience life in the late 1700s and early 1800s with 50+ activities happening throughout the historic museum campus.

One of the activities planned that day will be a dedication and planting of a Liberty Tree. The Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Association will be planting a ‘Liberty Tree’ at the Person County History Museum on Saturday, September 12 at 12:00pm. The tree to planted is an American Hornbeam/Ironwood Tree (Carpinus caroliniana).
