Personalizing the Past Exhibit
As part of the commemoration of the 250th Anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, PCMH will launch a new exhibit exploring Person County Past from the 1700s to the present day. The exhibit will explore the people and events that shaped Person County, and will use this as a launch pad to collect more stories of what makes Person County special.
This exhibit opens in July 2026 and will be free to visit during normal museum hours. Funding for this exhibit is made possible in part by a grant from America 250 NC, an initiative by the North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources.
