Join us for a presentation on hot topics concerning the food we eat, such as information about food labels, organic foods, GMOs and so much more. This workshop will be led by our Livestock, Horticulture & Family Consumer Science Extension Agents. The meal will feature a farm to table lunch using products from local farms and businesses. In the past few years’ new words have entered our daily conversations and eating habits such as: local foods, eat local, foodie, locavore, grass-fed, pasture raised, and organic.
