A woman smiles in front of a pond.Person County is welcoming its new 4-H agent, Hailee Dickerson! Hailee brings a wealth of experience to the role, having grown up in 4-H programs and later interning with the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Lee County Center under their 4-H agent. Her hands-on involvement in judging, skillathons, and livestock showing competitions gives her a unique perspective as both a participant and administrator.

Person County is poised for growth, and Hailee is eager to expand 4-H opportunities to match the community’s needs. She plans to grow the program through school enrichment initiatives and new clubs, aiming to connect with more schools and utilize the area’s potential resources.

Hailee’s top priority is to ensure students are excited about learning. She is a strong advocate for 4-H’s “learn by doing” philosophy, designing programs that are both educational and fun.

You’re invited to meet Hailee in person at the Person County Auditorium on December 18, 2024, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.. It’s a great opportunity to hear her vision, share ideas, and explore how you can support the growth of 4-H in Person County.

With her enthusiasm and commitment, Hailee is optimistic about building strong relationships with local schools, companies, and community members. Together, she aims to take 4-H in Person County to new heights.
