Looking for something fun and educational for youth to do over Spring Break? Join Person County 4-H for Pinch & Plant With 4-H: A 2-Day Spring Break Workshop! Open to ages 8-14, youth will create hand-crafted pinch pot flowerpots one day, and return later that week to plant Zinnias in their new pots and take them home! Youth should be able to attend the workshop on both days and the cost is $25 per person.
Day 1 | Tuesday, April 2 | 10 a.m.-12 p.m.: Create your very own pinch pot flowerpots (1 small, 1 large). Add some texture and choose an optional glaze color!
Day 2 | Saturday, April 6 | 10 a.m.-12 p.m.: Pick up your finished pots, add some soil, Zinnia seeds, and take them home to watch your spring flowers grow!
