Living Healthy With Diabetes

dsmpThe Person County Cooperative Extension Service and the Person County Health Department will be hosting the Living Healthy with Diabetes program. It is a FREE 6 week program developed by Stanford University that will help you manage symptoms including fatigue and depression, improve your communication skills, use relaxation techniques, eat healthy, use medication effectively, monitor your blood sugar, and set goals. This program will be held on Mondays, July 9th – August 13th from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m at Cambridge Hills Assisted Living at 5660 Durham Rd in Roxboro, NC. If you are interested in registering, call Sandra Carden at 336-598-4697 to register. You must commit to attending all 6 sessions. Registration deadline is July 2.
